  1. So, is this a hardware problem with the joy cons in general, or is it a software problem that can be solved with a system update?

  2. Can’t wait for morons like Blackb0nd to blow this out of proportion as usual.

  3. I mean I’ve had problems with my DualShock 4 having the same desyncing issues if a blanket or something gets in the way, so I think it should be fine.

Andre, I’ve always wanted to ask: Where does your accent come from? If this has been answered before I apologize.

  5. Freaking love GameXplain!
    Analyzes stuff to the max!
Gotta give props to them ?

  6. It doesn’t read through your body. Your body is not ready.

  7. The Ice Climbers desync all the time and no one gives them shit about it.

  8. Yea,

    *But Solid Snake.*

  9. This is a *bluetooth* signal issue not a *hardware* issue.

  10. Now you guys are official Nintendo Switch tech support

  11. Its the same thing as a tv remote, you block the signal and it stops getting commands.

  12. SO I CANT WRAP MY ENTIRE BODY IN A BLANKET AND JUST PEEK OUT MY HEAD TO PLAY?!

I LOVE DOING THAT IN THE WINTER LIKE A BLANKET COCOON WARMMMMMMM

  13. It could also be caused by household carrier wave frequencies interfering with the joy con. WiFi, cell phone, smart TV, smart refrigerator, smart power meters, etc. They can and will cause interference.

  14. What a lame console is this nintendo Switch. How i suppose to play with the joycons behind a concrete wall?

But seriously if the signal is this weak i hope its not the case with the pro controller.

  15. This happens on the PS4 controller as well, but it takes a *LOT* to make it happen there, like a wall or a big and solid desk between you and the console.

The Joycons seem to be way too sensitive with signal interference.

  16. This was a similar issue for the Wii’s IR sensors. *When people complained that the motion controls in Skyward Sword was spastic and unresponsive, 9 times out of 10 it was because the IR Sensor was too close to a bright light source (Lamp, Sun Light etc.).* That’s why it was recommended to play in a low lighting environment. You also had to calibrate the IR Sensor relative to your distance from it. It kind of makes it hard for the Wii to pick up your movements if doesn’t know where you are.
    Know what I mean? :/

  17. Can you test this with the Pro Controller please?

  18. 5 HOUR DISCUSSION: Who cut Andre’s head off?!

  19. Apparently according to Stealth on twitter they talked to a contact in Nintendo saying the connection issue should be sorted on launch…

  20. So basically, don’t cover/obstruct a wireless/Bluetooth device. Who’d have thought, eh?
    Panic over.
Great reporting and testing, Andre. No panic, just tests and presenting facts for us to draw conclusions from. Well done and thanks ??
