The Dead by Daylight team is proud to present the brand-new Chapter for Dead by Daylight: Stranger Things.
The Entity descends on the Midwestern town of Hawkins as Stranger Things, the critically acclaimed Netflix Original Series enters the realm of Dead by Daylight.
The Chapter introduces a new Killer and two new Survivors to the realm of The Entity: the monstrous, otherworldly Demogorgon is the new untamable Killer. Against it stands not one, but two, new Survivors: Nancy Wheeler, a tough aspiring journalist, and Steve Harrington, a former high school jock with a knack for finding trouble.
The Stranger Things Chapter comes with a new map, the Underground Complex. Located below the Hawkins National Laboratory, this grim compound caused an inter-dimensional rift that released dozens of creatures before being sealed off.
The Stranger Things Chapter launches in September on PC and consoles.

HOW are these guys getting all these expensive classic licenses?! They’ve achieved above and beyond corporate recognition wise for just an indie game.
They must have an outstanding licensing department.
This here though is a symbiotic relationship. Netflix gets more viewers for stranger things, and Dead by Daylight has a DLC pack people are really hyped for. Everyone wins here.

Tbh compared to other games like, literally any mobile game, this is such a cheap game. Only like $10 every 3 months for the new chapters or whatever

Sure, Epic has piled onto the “hype” by adding such heinous acts against humanity, *cough cough FURRIES cough cough cough* but by shitting on *the game,* we’re no better than the community that supports it.

90% of dbd players: so fix hit boxes already
Killers lunge depending on the speed and sometime their height make you think they are to far but actually already close enough and survivors hit boxes are well represented already, except for huntress’ hatchs hitboxes. What seem like a hitboxe fail is an illusion most of the time and need to be clearer, that’s why devs are twiking animations. The computer register a hit doesn’t matter for him if it looks like a hit or not in your eyes it will hit. Animations of the swing in the right angle at the right distance register a hit after this a complete different process occur which is a survivor get hit and an independant animation get triggered on him. both animations are fundamentaly separated and ask to each others if one triggerd the other or not. Dedicated serv will solve most of the latency and smooth all of this. SO yay you can trust the computer, getting hit through window is a mechanic which balance the game well, doesn’t matter how it looks when slow vaulting your hitbox is tremendously exposed and this even after you finish the animation of vaulting you end up close enough to the window to get hit through. Btw killers won’t switch hand or swing angle to make a hit more realistic if you follow me
I feel some killers are balanced, but Freddy and pig do need a lunge nerf.
