Oh shit, I’m actually pretty excited about this. I loved the first Dark Siders…I…appreciated the lore of the second…I was very sad when THQ died and I assumed we wouldn’t get a third.
Time to slog through the tedium that’s the first one then beat the second one to catch up, I guess.

I am so glad this series isn’t dead. Was so worried when THQ died that this series was over as well considering how bad Darksiders 2 sold but now I’m genuinely excited again 😀

only played part of darksiders 2 on ps4.. it was fun, but i forgot about it and never got around to finishing it.. never played the first one..
Wait, hold on a second. There’s something I don’t get. Darksiders is focusing on the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse, right? So shouldn’t the next protagonist be Famine or Conquest?

darksiders might be one of the few games that get away with boobplate and plate mail heels, since literally every piece of armor and every weapon is dumb and impractical

Yes yes oh hell yes ! Finally!!! Darksiders is such a great and underapreciated franchise! Here’s hoping for Jesper Kyd returning for the soundtrack.
Eh, I just couldn’t get into Darksiders. I know it’s meant to be cartoony and cheesy… But to me it was in the worst ways possible. Not endearingly so. The game felt cheap. I guess that’s the best way to describe it. Almost like some weird Chinese ripoff of a different, better game.
