The only cannon EA cares about is the one that shoot’s Loot Boxes at you.
Disney should take the Star Wars licence back, act as publisher and hire Obsidian and other proven developers to make a licensed game.

They had to put it in the game, but hide it from the customers until they could later charge them for the customization DLC that unlocks it. That’s integral to EA canon.
