Here is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Remastered, confusingly released after Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, the game this isn’t a sequel of. Good ol’ Activision!
But seriously, Modern Warfare 2 had a pretty damn good campaign, and it plays well here. That said, it does highlight some directorial issues FPS campaigns had, specifically when it comes to robbing a player of agency.
That Intro was glorious. Thank god for Jim Sterling!

The title makes me hungry for burgers, granted I’m almost always hungry for burgers but even more so.
Ah yes, burger towns, the only thing that can distract a player from the actual game more than checking out vending machines.
On a related note, I find it hilarious that “The best CoD campaign” is essentially one wherein two ultranationalists start WWIII, and in the process, needlessly endanger if not outright kill millions of soldiers and citizens alike, all for the sake of what can be described as, “My country’s dick is bigger than yours.”
…yet CoD is an apolitical game, has been, and should always be apolitical.
