excuse me… why do we need representation? can’t we just create what works best? not base our choices off of someone’s perception of our creation? art is not created by whole population at once, so why the f should you mirror it, or appeal to every group in it?

To be fair Jim, there is a natural ‘normal’. The normal curve is so called because it occurs across nature, it doesn’t matter what stat you pick, be it a kids hight across classroom or air humidity across a country area you’ll get the same normal curve.
Heterosexual is still the normal, in the mathematical sense. So if you try to chart anything like that, that will happen in the middle of the graph.
Don’t get me wrong though the tool as a concept it’s a fucking stupid idea, I just had to correct you on the maths.

When all you have is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail. This is almost certainly the brainchild of a dev who thinks they have solved the problem with the super power they possess. I hope they learn from this.

Both the woke and the anti-woke are laughing their ass off. This “Diversity Tool” apparently caters to the woke by making objectively verifiable that which, by the woke definition, can not be objectively verifiable. It’s deliciously ironic.
And the “normal” is still normal by definition, Jim. Any effort to create “diversity” or “inclusion” these days are necessarily working from a perspective where the “straight white guy” is the norm. It’s odd that you would imply otherwise.
It was a very nice bit at the end. I think a bit more of unscripted human interaction could do very well in these videos.
I’m a straight white guy, and even I find that tool to be bigoted racism. I’m surprised that they missed out religion on it.
